Hi. I’m Jedd Cole and I’m a writer, composer, artist, and dungeon master, among sundry other things.

I studied literature and rhetoric in college, and afterward started the Electric Didact channel on YouTube, making video essays doing cultural and literary theory and criticism on books, pop culture, politics and video games. This podcast is, the way I see it, an evolution of what I liked most about that channel, and a chance to do things differently.

I compose music, some of which I use on this podcast! You can find all the music I release for Inside the Text and otherwise on my Bandcamp.
